However, during the use of LED underwater lights at the construction site, some faults often occur, such as waterproofing issues during installation, or the lights not working properly if they are too far from the transformer.
As manufacturers of LED underwater lights, there are some issues in the installation of LED underwater lights that need special attention. Therefore, we would like to remind everyone to pay attention to the following points when installing LED underwater lights:
Choose an appropriate transformer size based on the total power of the LED underwater lights.
Generally, the utilization rate of a transformer is 75%, which means a 100W transformer should not drive more than 75W of lights. Pay attention to the transformer's input and output wires.
Due to the resistance of the wires themselves, the distance between the transformer and the lights will share part of the voltage, reducing the voltage to the remote light-emitting diode underwater lights to less than 12V.
Therefore, the distance between the underwater lights and the transformer outlet should not be too far. If the distance is too great, the number of transformers can be increased.
Ensure waterproofing.
Make sure the connections between the power supply and transformer, and between the transformer and the LED underwater lights are waterproof - using waterproof junction boxes and sealing glue.
A theoretically safe method is to place the high-voltage (220V) parts above water and the low-voltage parts underwater.
