1. LED underwater lights should be powered by a DC constant current power supply. Under the control of a constant current power supply, the forward voltage drop of LED wall wash lights LED underwater lights, and LED buried lights will decrease as the LED chip temperature rises, which has little impact on LED underwater lights. However, with a constant voltage drive, the current through the LED underwater light chip will increase as the temperature rises. In severe cases, it might even burn out the LED underwater light. Therefore, LED underwater lights should be powered by a DC constant current power supply.
2.** ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection measures should be taken.**
During the processing, production, and installation of LED underwater light products, certain ESD protection measures should be adopted, such as grounding the workbench, and workers should wear anti-static suits, wristbands, anti-static gloves, etc. If conditions permit, an anti-static ion fan can be installed, and during installation, the air humidity should be maintained at around 65% to prevent static electricity from being generated by too dry air. Additionally, LED underwater lights of different quality grades have differing anti-static capabilities, with higher quality grade LED underwater lights having stronger anti-static capabilities.
3. Pay attention to the sealing of LED products. Regardless of the type of LED lights used outdoors, they face challenges with moisture proofing and sealing, especially LED underwater lights. Poor handling of sealing issues can directly affect the lifespan of LED underwater lights.
