Narrow-Angle Floodlight

12-20 17:13

Almost all large-area lighting equipment used outdoors can be considered as floodlights. Projectors feature a narrow beam angle, with variations within 0°. Most are equipped with enclosed floodlights, mechanical parts, protective glass, and various sealing rings. Depending on the environmental requirements, some are also fitted with metal mesh covers. High-performance projectors are even equipped with air filters. Electrical components are primarily rotationally symmetrical, such as ballasts, capacitors, and ignitors (as required by the light source). With an extremely narrow beam, these are referred to as searchlights.

Effects like tracking and scanning can also be achieved through DMX control.

A floodlight is a lighting device that ensures the illuminance of the surface being illuminated is higher than its surrounding environment. It is also known as a spotlight. It can be directed towards any direction, with its structure unaffected by weather conditions. Primarily used in large mines, architectural outlines, stadiums, overpasses, monuments, parks, and flower beds. Hence, almost all large-area lighting equipment used outdoors can be considered as floodlights. The projector output beam angles are increasingly narrow, ranging from 0° to 180°.
