LED
wall washers, as the name suggests, illuminate walls in such a way that it appears as if the light has 'washed' over the color, typically used to outline large architectural contours. Due to the advantages of
LED wall washers they have gradually replaced other wall light sources. So, what are these advantages?
Power Levels. The power level of wall washers determines their projection distance. Their power is not fixed; it can be adjusted based on requirements! Generally, high-power
LED wall washers refer to single-row, while multi-row are known as linear
LED floodlights.
Voltage. The voltage of LED wall washers can be DC (direct current) or AC (alternating current), typically with an internal power source connected to AC220V mains power. External power sources are usually low voltage DC24V, DC12V, DC27V, etc. Voltage varies based on different requirements and manufacturers.
IP Protection Level. This is an important parameter for wall washers, also a critical indicator of current barrier tube quality. A waterproof rating of IP65 or above is preferable, and they should also meet pressure resistance, fracture resistance, high and low temperature resistance, flame resistance, and impact aging resistance requirements.
Color Standards. Includes multicolor, full-color, and single-color.
Color Temperature. Offers a wide selection of color temperatures.
Emission Angle. LED wall washers typically have narrow, medium, and wide emission angles. Currently, Light Era high-power LED wall washers (narrow angle) have a projection distance of 5-10 meters.
Operating Temperature. Considering that wall washers are often used outdoors, this parameter is particularly important. They must operate in a wide range of temperatures, generally from -40°C to +60°C.
Control Methods. There are two control methods for LED wall washers: internal and external controls. Internal control means no external controller is needed, and the effects cannot be changed. External control uses an external controller, allowing effect changes through the main control buttons.
Mirror. A glass reflective lens with a 98% light transmittance rate, resistant to fogging and UV radiation.
Light Source. Generally uses 1W LEDs.
