With the development of illumination projects, traditional light sources can no longer meet people's lighting needs. Nowadays LED wall washers are becoming increasingly popular for city illumination. Besides meeting the lighting effect requirements in their design, the light display after installation has also gained widespread appreciation. However, during on-site usage, regular maintenance of LED wall washers is essential since it affects their lifespan. What routine maintenance should be carried out?

1. Power off the high-power LED wall washers. This step is mandatory for maintaining lighting fixtures to ensure that the entire maintenance process is safe and does not conduct electricity. Moreover, this prevents potential damage to the electrical circuit of the fixtures. Therefore, cutting off the power is a must. During cleaning, it's essential to use a dry cloth. A wet cloth may cause damage to the fixtures, such as water seeping into the interior. If the fixture operates under high voltage, any water inside could conduct electricity when powered on.
2. It is critical to avoid using chemical substances for cleaning, such as detergents, which generally have corrosive effects on the surface of high-power LED wall washers. Moreover, if leaked into the fixtures, they could react with the internal adhesive, leading to chemical reactions.
3. Regularly check whether the screws on the fixture's mounting bracket are loose and if the waterproof tape at the connection between the wall washer and power source has come off. If it has been a long time and the tape has peeled off, it might be necessary to wrap a few more turns.
